A Dying Moon in a Desert

In a desert, I saw a moon

Sitting on a huge dune,

I was gazing at it like a loon

For this sight was really kaboom

The dim yellow light,

Reflecting a depressing sight

It was gradually sighing and dying;

Looking boozy growing broomy,

And seemed like a fragile maiden

As overwhelming grief had made it ashen

This sight of dying moon

Made me sad soon…
